KW-6356: what does this study show?

168 patients in a randomized, double-blind trial: oral KW-6356 3 mg or 6 mg once daily versus placebo for 12 weeks.

Demonstrated findings

The primary motor-examination score improved by 5.37 points with 3 mg, 4.76 with 6 mg and 3.14 with placebo. Constipation occurred in 7.3% and 10.3% of the active-dose groups.
