PED Evidence is educational. Every claim should remain inside the boundaries of the source that supports it.

Responsibility and corrections

PED Evidence's publisher and editor is responsible for editorial priorities and corrections. Report a possible error with its page URL and supporting source through Contact. Corrections should identify the changed claim and update the substantive review date; routine site maintenance does not make a paper newly reviewed.

Research funding and commercial material

Study funding is reported when verified from the reviewed source. Sponsor announcements are labeled separately from peer-reviewed articles. Paid placements or affiliate links must be identified where they appear and do not count as supporting evidence.

Primary sources first

Drug labels, trial registries, peer-reviewed studies, regulatory records and original publisher pages are preferred. Vendor pages, promotional material, forums and social posts do not substitute for primary evidence.

Evidence boundaries

Animal, cell and mechanistic findings can identify plausible research directions. They are not presented as demonstrated human benefits. Observational associations are not written as treatment effects, and null or adverse findings belong beside positive findings.

Performance-enhancing compounds

Anabolic steroids, SARMs, growth factors and unapproved compounds are included because people research them and because their benefits, harms and uncertainties deserve accurate coverage. Inclusion is not endorsement.

Popularity and rankings

Citation counts and recency can help readers find influential or current work. They do not establish quality or create a treatment recommendation. Navigation order may reflect editorial relevance, not a universal ranking of compounds.

Conflicts and uncertainty

When evidence conflicts, the disagreement should be shown rather than averaged into certainty. Missing information is labeled as unknown. Source changes or citation conflicts cause affected claims to be withheld pending review.
