This page describes the current public research experience.
Information you provide
The research library does not ask you to submit medical records or create a public health profile. Searches and locally saved reading preferences may be processed to provide the requested feature.
Contacting us
The contact form prepares a draft in your email app. Form contents are not submitted to or stored by this website. When you send the email, your name, email address and message are processed by email providers and received by PED Evidence to respond to your inquiry. Please do not send medical records or sensitive health information.
Operational data
The hosting platform may process standard technical information such as IP address, device information, request logs and security events. PED Evidence offers optional first-party usage measurement, stored in its own site database. It records daily event counts and Core Web Vitals quality bands by broad page type and screen-size category. These aggregates do not identify a person, a query or a particular article. No third-party analytics service is enabled by this feature.
Reading lists and notes
Guest bookmarks, list names and private notes are stored in your browser. Signed-in study IDs sync with your account, and existing guest bookmarks are imported when you sign in. Notes and list names remain device-local and are not uploaded. Clearing browser storage removes device-local data. Citation exports include your notes, so review files before sharing. Do not store patient-identifying information here.
Optional usage measurement
Help improve loading speed and research navigation by sharing anonymous counts and performance bands. This is off unless you enable it. No search terms, article identifiers, notes, full URLs, IP addresses or account identifiers are stored in these measurement records.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. You can turn this off here at any time.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics helps us understand visits, page views, referrals and engagement. The Google tag software loads from Google when you visit, which sends a standard network request to Google. Analytics measurement is disabled until you opt in. When you enable it, Google receives browsing and device information and may set analytics cookies. This is separate from our first-party measurement.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. Turning this off stops future collection through this tag; it does not erase previously collected data or existing cookies. You can remove cookies in your browser settings. See how Google uses data from partner sites.
